Sarah Hawkins began designing invitations and announcements for the special events in the lives of family and friends.
Eventually, the demand for her designs grew so much that what had once been a part-time hobby became a full-time passion. First, designing wedding invitations and birth announcements for local brides and new parents, then growing the business by selling baby announcements online.
In 2006, Sarah Hawkins Designs was launched at the National Stationery Show in New York City. The debut was overwhelmingly successful. Buyers across the country found her designs fresh and delightful. Two years later, Sarah has exclusively partnered with Tiny*Prints and Wedding Paper Divas, the premier online sources for custom stationery.
A West Virginia native now living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Sarah has also worked in several design firms in Pittsburgh and New York. Her corporate clients have included Tiffany & Co., Heinz, PPG, Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, Del Monte and the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.
Sarah’s stationery designs have been selected by many celebrity clients and have been featured in many national publications.
